My name is Maria Lora. I own a Bridal Alterations Shop in Deltona FL. I am a wife and mom to 3 amazing daughters - they mean the world to me and I'm determined to change the world for them. I am the 3rd Generation professional seamstress. My parents are both immigrants from Greece, and grew up too poor to afford any education. As a child my mom earned income for the family by working in a " sewing factory". They came to the United States in the late 1970's without knowing a single english word. They built an amazing life on hopes, dreams, entrepreneurship and sewing. Sunnera's mission to break the stats and create more successful female owned businesses is now the mission I am on too. I admire her drive and most of all that she gets to have it all without compromising family time.
What I want to get from The Club is...
I want to learn as much as I can about growing and scaling businesses with multiple passions as well as being an involved mom and wife. Not just eh bare minimum, the once a week date night kinda wife! No one has ever made it feel possible to be multi passionate while being a mom. I love that being multi-passionate is encouraged here and welcomed with open arms, theres no other program out there that feels as specifically narrowed down to my exact situation as this. Suneera is incredible and I think everyone she has on her team and chooses to interview is also really freakin (excuse my non professionalism this moment) badass! and thats what I want. I want real!! Emotional! human WOMEN, with feelings and all who are not only successful as heck but kind enough to share the knowledge and bring all the others with you .. that's a movement I want to be a part of ! I wont settle for anything less than crushing all these statistics before my daughters even notice !
